Growing Up Is Optional

"Growing old is mandatory,
growing up is optional."

Just ask the folks at the candy store that hubby and I stopped at Sunday night.

The minute we went in the door, we saw the huge teddy bear sitting at a table near the ice-cream display. Hubby and I grinned because we have quite the collection of cute stuffed animals at home, which started out being for our baby boy but ended up being well loved by all of us.

The candy-store bear was clearly feeling the love, too. First, one of the associates put a spoon in the bear's mouth. Then someone pushed a bowl in front of his place at the table. (Hey, you never know when a bear will want a sundae!)

As we left with our goodies, hubby and I saw through the window that an associate had lifted the bear (which was about as tall as she was!) out of his chair and was dancing with him around the store.

Our inner children enjoyed every minute!
